At the end of 2019, BBC released the second series of "People in Science with Professor Brian Cox". The series explores some of the most inspirational figures in the history of science through a discussion with the remarkable people whom they inspired.

Over the two series, Professor Cox has held discussions with three of our previous Suffrage Science winners about those figures that inspired them. Featured are:

- Professor Dame Sally Davies (Life Sciences 2011) discussing her interest in antibiotic resistance and admiration of Alexander Fleming

- Professor Dame Julia Higgins (Engineering and Physical Science 2013) exploring the life and work of Michael Faraday

- Professor Dame Wendy Hall (Maths and Computing 2016) talking about one of her personal heroes Alan Turing

You can watch both series on BBC iPlayer currently and learn about those who inspired our Suffrage Science award winners; who are now inspiring so many others themselves.
